So still waiting on engine parts to finish the T100 engine build and nothing much to do i started collecting parts to build Su a hardtail as she has fell out of love with her full suspension bike. Found a nice superlight steel Cove frame the other day and have been preparing it for paint, had some Triumph Regal paint left over and added a little pearle and job done :)

Two of the nicest riding bikes ever - Gunnar Ruffian and Trek 5500. Gunnar was a steel framed single speed with and the 5500 a carbon framed bike. I put close to 40000 miles on the Trek, gave it my daughter who still rides it.

As far a ride quality nothing ever came close to the Gunnar. Ruffian2.jpeg

Engine was a twin, 180 degree crank putting out a maximum of 1200 watts at 184 Beats Per Minute. The other is single KTM 520, about 65 HP at 8000 RPM. Raced human and ICE. Both engines are thrilling, expensive to maintain and fast as hell.

I’m looking for a steel Sanderson frame - sold one years ago and regretted it. Sounds familiar.....

When I was at Bulldog Triumph last week they had a cracking Mountain bike there a Triumph limited edition. I was sorely tempted.
