:confused:Long way to go yet but I’m getting there slowly :)
Been a bit of a faff so far but I’m happy to remove it from the rack and can now work on it as a separate item :) 7203F06B-0257-494C-899B-F9B333DA88E5.jpeg B5629B8A-C2C0-4C13-8B44-9166328A0192.jpeg

Put a top stop bar in for the slider part of the back rest :)
Drilled some holes in the sides so I could weld the bar in place from the outside as this will make it easier to dress it with my grinder :) 576EF930-CBA8-4AA9-B4A3-7DC900B31B41.jpeg

Depending on how accurate my drilling and welding goes
I should get between 7-8cm of adjustment up and down for the back rest  C7E731AA-ABAE-48A4-8A0A-0DC8CD1523E0.jpeg 28ED665E-1E0F-49A4-820C-86796DCFE6D6.jpeg
