Just my pride. :sob: And as you can tell, I suck in sand. Jodie was way out in front on that ride and asked what took me so long to catch up.

Nice stable. Hope you enjoy the forums.

New bikes are great. They don't drip oil (like Virginia) or spew gas, (like Lucifer). One more in the barn.

Welcome. Bought my Speedmaster about a year ago and took it on a 2800 mile trip last summer. Loved the bike and had zero problems. You'll enjoy it. I traded a Bonneville T100 for my Speedmaster.

Interested in your feelings on the SM as a touring rig. 2800 miles is a nice ride! Any complaints? I’m curious how the SM does in the twisty parts. I’ve read a lot (probably too much) about scraping pegs etc. I don’t really care about scraping, but I don’t want to be limited by crap clearance.
Also, how do you like your Corbin?

Pegs do scrape at times but I'm a more conservative rider, especially on trips, so doesn't bother me. It's definitely not an off road bike. I love the Corbin seat and the back rest makes 300 mile plus days easy. I added an air pad to the seat but I'm not i really needed it. Trying a 4700 mike trip this year.

The pegs definitely scrape sooner than they did on my Griso, but I can still ride our twisty roads above the speed limit and one point of the Speedmaster for me was to slow down a bit so for me when it scrapes I just back off a hair and call it good. I wouldn't expect to canyon carving at sport bike pace but that's not the point of this bike.
