1968 Mk 2 Cortina 1.3L, learned to drive in it, blew up the engine and fitted a 1.6, passed my test in it in 78 Triumph Vitesse, bought with a friend as a project...fecked it up and sold it on to a 'proper' mechanic 1972 Mk 3 Cortina 1.6GXL Mk 3 Capri 1.6S 1985 Capri 2.8i Metro 1.3 van Sierra 2.0 estate Peugeot 305 estate Sierra 2.0 estate (another one) Vauxhall Cavalier sri MG Maestro 1986 Capri 2.8i Special 1990 BMW 320 Touring 1995 BMW 520 Touring 1999 Citroen Xsara estate Volvo V40 estate 2002 BMW 320 saloon 2000 Peugeot Partner 1.9 Van 2002 Renault Kangoo 1.5 Van 2009 Citroen Berlingo 1.6 Van, the only four wheel vehicle I now have and used for work Not sure of all the years so have just put in the years I can remember
My first car was a 1990 Ford fiesta 1.1 litre. Freedom! Second was my most favourite that I've owned, citroen ax GT. Only a 1.4 but made of plastic, so therefore super light and (I believe) had the same drag coefficient as a maclaren F1 (the road car). Was also my last carb'd car, I love carbs over fuel injection, it feels so much more instant/connected! 3rd was a Peugeot 306xsi, amazing handling, quite quick, but a bit bland. Kept the Peugeot but at the same time bought a VW T3 campervan to spend a year living in, travelling around Europe. Windsurfing and mountain biking every day! Actually, that's probably my favourite, life went wrong after that......I got a job, mortgage etc Sold the campervan and Peugeot, bought a VW T4 van. Then a T5 van. Now have a T6. And my Thunderbird sport
Coo. See if I can remember VW Beetle 1303 Austin Mini 850 from 1966 (very rusty) Hillman Hunter 1725 (very very rusty) Vauxhall Viva Land Rover SWB (biggest pile of crap. Worst thing I ever bought) Ford Fiesta mk1, 2 and 3 (had 3 of these. Great little cars. The mk 1 was petrol, the other 2 diesel) Ford Escort GL Rover 216 SE Rover 420D Rover 420i Toyota Yaris Toyota Corolla Citroen C4 coupe Diesel Skoda octavia estate Alfa Romeo Spider Audi A1 BMW 320D BMW 320 petrol estate car BMW X1 Toyota Aygo Fiat Ducato Motorhome and out of all of the above, I loved my Citroen the best, funky, stylish, economical and reliable. Apologies to any of my cars I’ve forgotten about.

An interesting topic ! Many of the youth of today would be scratching their heads about some of the British cars mentioned here ! I guess it shows the average age of the forum members ...!
Yes but on the other hand, all cars look pretty much the same to me these days. Then again, to me, a car is just a way of getting from A to B.
I’ve had a few really great cars in my time but the one I remember most was my Fiat Strada. The 2nd car that I owned. A shocking orange colour but it had a digital clock ! It was the only car I’ve ever owned that got faster as it got older, mainly due to the rapid weight loss regime it went on . Not through performance parts installed by me but due to the rate at which it rusted.....it was truly shocking. Also it was not good at starting in the morning. I had to park it on a hill to bump start it every day . Italian I guess, not the best at getting out of bed in the morning but great at reversing ...! On the plus side I had a lot of sex in it !
Too many to list One year I got through so many cars the tax man wanted me to fill in a return I tended to like the classic ones a few P6s including a 2000 tc couple of v8s and a mk3 zodiac the 2000 tc worth over 10k now if only
