My thoughts are with everyone with Covid 19 and family and friends who are worried about them. My partners mum was diagnosed with Corvid 19 yesterday. She's 83 and was taken to hospital. We rang her today and she seemed quite chipper, so hopefully she's only got a mild dose. fingers, and toes crossed.
Totally agree Andy. We continue to see people ignoring the advice. My mum seems to be stabilising on her antibiotics so hopefully she will start improving soon.
I don't know what it's like round your way, but I live in N London near the A10 and all day there have been morons riding up and down and I don't suppose they are all delivering shopping to their housebound vulnerable grannies. FFS haven't they got any common ? Twats like this almost guarantee a total lockdown - fuckin' grow up !
No different here in Hampshire - I heard a fair few bikes hooning it along the A34 from my garden this morning. Unlikely to be out shopping for essentials me thinks. Along with all those selfish treats who went sunbathing in the London parks expect a ban on leaving your home for exercise and a much longer lock down now. Thanks you tossers!
Last night while walking the dog on my only jaunt out, someone was screwing an automatic V8 around I could hear it in the distance probably on the bypass. 5 mins later while still hearing the V8, plod sirens also joined the noise and the V8 stopped. Sounded like a well deserved pull
Overtaken yesterday whilst doing 50 in a 50mph zone by a w*ker in a red Porsche Cayenne doing at least 80mph about 300 yards before a set of lights.
Went out for a walk up the Newmarket heath today group's of people sitting around . People driving up to the top then getting out with there dog's and taken them for a walk. WTF why can't people do what they are told fcking dickheads. Tucker
Wow, @andypandy. I'm sorry for the loss of your colleague. That hits very, very close to home. Early 40's and asthma. I spoke with a parent from my school on Friday. She and her husband have three kids. He's a physician and she works at the university in occupational medicine (currently on COVID-19-related things). The parents are, I'd say, in their 40's and they both have asthma. Needless to say, she is extremely concerned and stressed.
Yeah it's really odd how it hits people different ways. My eldest step daughter has had it bad and spent six days in bed, she's just getting over it now. Yet her husband just had a runny nose (not a symptom) and lost his sense of smell and he felt pretty well. In fact he had gone to work, never thinking for one moment that he had the virus.
I'm so sorry for your loss @tcbandituk , words alone cannot express my sadness at this news. Be strong mate.....
Please accept my most sincere condolences for the loss of your Dad. We're all sitting and reflecting on the news with you and your family in the forefront of our thoughts. Oldfart
I so very sorry to learn that you lost your father today, @tcbandituk. My deepest condolences to you and your family. My heart aches for you. ♥️ My dad passed 18 years ago and I still miss him. Today, April 7th, was his birthday—he’d have been 90. Sending love across the pond.
