Steve, sorry to hear your mum is poorly but glad to hear its not the dreaded C-19. Although a chest infection/water on her lungs is serious enough.
@OldNick, ours here in Arizona is an "Executive Order" but not law. It's a strong recommendation at this point. This is just a small part of Arizona's order. Interestingly, the longest part of the order is the extensive list of essential services. The current order is in effect until April 30th.
Thats all we get at this time six and a half hours.Normally its between 10 and 12 1/2. What can you do?
Good and thought-provoking post, @SprinterII. For me the most important take away from your whole post is to be found in your last paragraph. Especially the last two sentences. Thanks for taking the time to write this. Some very good reminders in very strange times.
I'm glad I'm not so morally bankrupt that I have to invent excuses to ride my bike rather than just wait a couple of months until all this has resolved.
Thanks for asking @Sandi T. , she seems to be ok, but not getting any better. The up side is she does not appear to be getting any worse. It has been difficult communicating with her as she is having trouble hearing on her phone. It is quite frustrating, but nothing I can do about it. The home have been brilliant keeping us informed, but I don't like to keep calling them for updates given how busy they are. Not being able to visit is frustrating though.... stay safe
Glad to read that at least she's not getting worse, @Wessa. It must be terribly frustrating and scary too that you're unable to communicate very well or regularly with her. Please keep us posted. You stay safe, too. Take care...
C’mon elder statesmen DD, how much Bushmills had been consumed ahead of that one? Well put by the way, everyone is entitled to their view .... even Ron May peace breakout, this would be assisted greatly if @Sprinter shared his stash!
Some of Sprinter's longer posts might suggest that there's not much stash left to share ........... ?
