But I love doing stuff like this
Maybe I should buy a welder as it’s a lot easier doing stuff with the bike in front of me instead of doing it in stages by taking stuff to work

Dilli if your going to tack weld the frame work together whilst on the bike don’t forget to disconnect the battery.

If you drank less JD you could afford to buy a rack slash seat rest just a thought

 

I priced it all up mate
Feckin £1305 and still doesn’t do what I want from the system
This way so far it hasn’t cost me a penny
And it’s a damn site easier to install and remove

 

£1305 that's taking the piss you'd be sober for at least a fortnight mate you carry on

 

The super stylish top box makes a return
It also makes a very good backrest
I’m gonna try to make another backrest to use without the top box but leaving some carrying capacity with the rack still in place behind

 

That looks the dogs bollox mate...

 

Very practical and as you say usable and easily removed, Great job so far whats more made yourself for next to nowt win win IMHO

Because it’ll be a while before I can get round to making a tow bar and getting a trailer
I thought I’d quickly make use of my helicopter landing pad that was previously fitted to NUDGER
Made some spacers and using threaded bar so that I can strap my camping gear to CERBERUS without tying anything to the bike itself

What a bloody faff on
The amount of times I’ve had this apart to make adjustments
But until I’m happy with it the welder stays in the box

 

It was going so well Dilli, thought you was making a Dilligaf custom version of the back rest ... now you have stuck an ugly POSTB to that beautiful motorcycle
