Harley Trike

nothing else much to do at the minute my bikes are all serviced and in pristine condition ready to go, so am polishing bionic veras trike,

 

It's nice to see another Trike on here.

 

ooooo thats nice, yeh its my sons trike, it needs a new clutch basket, we dont think the standard 1200 harley sportster clutch setup is heavy enough for the weight of the bike so when we get it fixed he will just have to take is easy, dont give it any stick as it dont like it

 

That’s a nice bit of special modification on there. I do remember the last trike he had in Wales.
What sort of ride duration does he get with his disability before he’s uncomfortable?

 

he can go on for quit a few hours with just one arm he is very strong, we normally have hourly breaks when on ride outs, and this harley trike is actually award winning, we got the certificates

 

yeh i will tell him, he did have to spend a few quid adapting the harley for his needs, the clutch basket has split and were looking to replace it with a better one we dont think the harley clutch can take the weight of a trike

Would the above help or Barnett clutch components something that would improve the quality and strength on the original, My old Buell Ulysses XB12X had a Barnett upgrade it was a vast improvement from stock.
