This is such a sad story. You are doing the right things via the police and other agencies. It is a slow process mate, but usually does works itself out over time. I agree with many previous post that if it is still going on once the current lock down has completed a forum ride to your place is in order. Of course a peaceful party in your garden, just a demonstration of the kind of support that you can depend on.

Thank you guys your kind words and support is more that appreciated in these trying times, and me and the wife would welcome all and sundry with bacon sarnies and plenty of tea...and beer when all this madness is over...just a shame that there are some nasty assholes around and one lives next to me.

On a nicer note we had a letter through the door yesterday from a neighbor down the road offering help to all regarding the corona virus ie shopping etc if they need it...just goes to show that there are some nice people around...and most of them are members of this forum.:):heart:

I am really sorry to hear your story mate. I have a friend who works for a housing association and gave me some advice.

So, most housing associations will have teams to deal with this s#it. I would make a real fuss with them and write a letter documenting it all and how it's damaging your health. Go to the doctor and explain the stress this is causing and ask for a letter backing his concerns about your health in this situation. Include this with the letter to the housing association. Be persistent with them if you don't get a response and document all contact. It can be a long process but if he's renting then there's a chance to get him out.

Second the CCTV route, its fairly cheap (ish) these days.

Thirdly the police should have a community officer you can meet (difficult times obviously at the moment) and they will often work with housing associations. Getting him or her on aside will be another advantage.

    Best of luck.

Thank you gazz, unfortunately i had a call from another officer saying that because there are no actual witnesses to the damage to the fence they wont pursue it and the housing association are as much use as a chocolate teapot and wont do sod all until he has really pushed things, Still waiting for the council to get back to me hope they will be more help meanwhile there are support sites out there but they are just that...seems that unless you get assaulted or you have hard evidence that it.:(

It seems that the housing association dont give a toss and favor their tenants rather than those who are on the receiving end of the problems, There should be records of his past antisocial behavior as he has been at it even before i moved in and there should be plenty of my video evidence of the noise from two or three years ago but it seems to be wiped out and they can start again which to me is crap.
I have just emailed the contact there again saying i am going to pursue this via every means possible as they just dont seem to care and i may contact the media and press for assistance so we will see if that gets more response...meanwhile i will now have to fork out for CCTV as well as fix the fence.:(

Thanks for that i really want a system with three or four cameras...mind you i first have to contact the police to see the legalities as i want to catch the bastid doing some damage but in order to do so have to have a camera pointed at the fence which will be his garden otherwise its pointless and they seem to need more prof other than photos.

Thanks DD but that's about £150 more than i can afford and even that's a stretch if it wasn't for that tosser i wouldn't bother still not sure if i would be forking out the money to achieve very little if anything....might have to decide between the bike insurance or the cameras.

You may need the bike - just to clear your mind and escape. There are many cheaper options for cctv these days - some straight to your phone and easily recordable - all the best mate.

I am now getting even more pissed off as i have just had a reply from the attending officer who i told that i feel nobody was taking things seriously enough and she i lying she stated that i didn't give a statement which i did and that because i didn't want them to go around and confront him then because i thought if they did he would just kick off again later and i would have to call them back.

Now she tells me that they could have arrested him and it could have gone to court which if they had told me i would have said yes go ahead its like i have been either deliberately misinformed or just not bothered to give the me correct details ....not happy!
Is it worth taking it higher or will that just prejudices them?

Sounds like a bit of confusion by them. Can you still progress with the court action or has to much time passed?
