Hi All, Just introducing myself. I've just purchased a 2005 Triumph Sprint ST 1050. Unfortunately, it broke down, on my way home from the dealer, so they have it for repair. Hope to get it back soon. I've not ridden for about 6 years. Story goes, that following a break from riding of about 12 years, I got a Sprint ST 955. One day, on commute, it broke down & wouldn't even turn over. Recovery needed, fault turned out to be ECU. That prompted a change, to a Honda ST1300. Whilst that was road parked in a designated bike bay, a white van reversed into the bay and knocked over my bike, causing almost £2k in damage. Two months after repair, another white van did exactly the same, causing £2.3k in damage. I gave up, sold the bike, but the bike-bug came back. This time, bought an old BMW R1150 RT. It was ok, but not as good as the Pan. One morning, on winter commute, at busy roundabout, waiting to emerge, car behind hit my rear end. Bike was written off & I gave up again. Bug came back, bought the Sprint 1050. Hopefully, I'll get to ride it soon! Lockdown may make me wait until winter!

All true. Sadly no pics, other than some pre-hit ones of the Pan I'll dig them out. When I get the Sprint back, I'll shine her up & take pics.
