Aaaaagh. Got serious cabin fever. Want to go out on the bike but it’s only just above zero here. I would never normally go out on the bike when it’s this cold but things are getting desperate now.
I cracked. I couldn’t take it anymore. Just got back home after 85km on the Speedmaster. It’s WAspy’s turn tomorrow. Actually it wasn’t so bad, just my fingers a little cool, but the rest was toasty warm.
Thanks yes. We’ve had this weather for the past few days. Beautiful blue sky but quite parky. I had so much cabin fever and was in such a rush to get out of the house, I forgot my earplugs. Still enjoyed the ride though
Feckin Western Power Distribution Here we are on social isolation and I get a power cut with a message saying they will hopefully have it resolved by 1500hrs What the feck do I now do without power for 5 hours
Nope. Well at least mine doesn’t have them. I just had to go and have a look. It has cruise control but no heated grips
Dutch supermarket update. Just got back after trying a different supermarket (Vomar). No toilet rolls, but they had plenty of kitchen rolls and wet wipes. No breadmaking flour, but everything else looked to be ok. Plenty of fruit and vegetables (tinned and fresh), meats, beer and pop. If it wasn’t for the lack of toilet paper you’d think it was normal. Ferry Update I looked at the P&O ferries site and it said only freight and essential travelers, would be allowed to return to the Netherlands. It didn’t mention going the other way. Ferries to France, similar situation. Waspy’s ride update cancelled. Much colder than yesterday That’s all, as you were.
Yeah mate they’re extra If they’re on your bike @BonnieCat their is a little button built into the left hand grip near but not on the switch gear housing Hope you have them as they’re pretty good
Nope there’s no additional button on or around the left switch gear. Must have been an optional extra
Bugger I know that cheaper options are available and they work very well But I thought the Triumph ones were brilliant with the added bonus of not having a bloody great switch to mount/hide They also indicate on the dashboard thingy when you first switch them on Expensive but good Gonna have them fitted to CERBERUS
Under normal circumstances I wouldn't ride the Triumph so early in the year. It's just a summer toy, so the heated grips are not vital. Waspy on the other hand does have heated grips which work well and I did need them right at the Nordkap in Norway. I think my T120 had them
Spot on mate, as @dilligaf says expensive but well worth the money. A very neat switch on the left handlebar switch and info on the dash. Unlike my Tiger Sport that has an aweful button mounted on the handle bar, looks terrible, but does work well.
Change of direction, while we debate the rights and wrongs of going out on our bikes and told where we can go he comes to Scotland with the virus--whos the shit for brains?
