Trollstigen is fantastic :grinning: But can at times be a bit crowded. We have something similar close to where I live called Lysebotn, that has a very nice parking and restaurant on the top with the stunning view :sun:

Didn't know about this place, will deffo check it out at some point, thanks.
For UK and other Europeans (that live a bit more south) they can make a shortcut from the top of Denmark Hirtshals, to Norway.

The north is really beautiful as well :) Did the ride from Kristiansand in south, and up to North Cape. About 2400 km. Took the ferry back down to Stavanger.

Norway is very beautiful, expensive but worth it I used to have to go at least once a year for work [Bodo] and then for a holiday why on earth they stopped the Newcastle to Bergan ferry I don't know maybe it proved to be too expensive to run, but it is well worth the effort to get there.
I like the food but cannot get my taste buds around that tinned fish that stinks of cat shit how can you guys eat that stuff :D

I travel a lot in Norway, I use the tent, make my own food, and that keeps the cost a bit down :p But gasprice is ridiculous
Not sure why it was cancelled, but I’ve heard that they need it to be a big ferry due to the rough sea, and that makes it very expensive. But really hoping they bring it back at some point...a bit far going to Calais : unamused:
And for the record, I don’t eat that shit either :joy:
