Oh dear all these generous offers, but which to pick. If I throw in a VStrom do you think I could get an extra bog roll or 2.

FFS I’m trying to keep myself busy in the garage while I’m at home and forever getting a tickle making me rub my nose while I’m filing and sanding stuff
Had to stop and go back into the house and have a Feckin nostril trim

Actually no, but he definitely won't be getting the community support should that need arise again.

The dozy, docile muppets that call into tv and radio programmes with banal questions about coronavirus. Are they that stupid that they really can't fathom the answer from the overwhelming and oft repeated information put out by the media and government.
An example is this from a national tv news channel this morning - the questioner stated that she was a carer for her husband who was undergoing chemotherapy, she worked in a busy office and wondered whether she should stay at home or go into work.

    FFS!! Words fail me

@BonnieCat I feel really guilty right now and a little bit hypocritical albeit through no fault of my own :worried::worried:

We were down to our last couple of toilet rolls so decided to hit Bookers at opening time this morning :(:(

I was lucky enough to find some and after being grilled about my suitability to buy I managed to get some comfy bum Andrex :blush:

The problem is they are a wholesaler so I could only buy the bulk pack so I now have 45 toilet rolls wtf :confused:

I will endeavour to pass some of these on to deserving people as I hear about them as there's not much else I can do :poop::poop:

The smallest carburettor I’ve worked on... keys for scale... It’s slightly better but still doesn’t run properly
Turns out it’s not just me... reading through some of the review sites... last Titan product I buy (I got 2 1/2 seasons out of it)!

I have a petrol strimmer, hedge trimmer and chain saw and it has also stopped working. Got a good spark, but does not fire. reckon it is the carburetor knacked as well. Your post has prompt me to take it to the dump, so thanks for posting :)

yeah, I had a good spark, good 2 stroke compression/suction, all jetting and pipes appeared clear and flowing, air filter cleaned and oiled... tricky to tell, but the diaphragm appears intact... moves well to air pressure. Fresh petrol at 40:1... Could get it to run and tick over, but no reaction to the throttle except a slight bogging down of the revs when you release.... same as everyone else in the reviews... fecking POS!!!

given it to a neighbour to play with and keep if he gets it to work.

A neighbour of mine is a design engineer by trade. The sort of strimmer (weed whacker for the cousins!) you are talking about probably has a design life of 150-300 hrs.
I learnt the hard way. I buy Stihl, Husqvarna, Honda, Makita but expect no more than a couple of seasons out of Ryobi etc. My Husky also starts so much more readily.

I nursed it through about 2 1/2 seasons but it was very rarely used... it stopped halfway through last year... only just got the urge to fettle it today. I couldn’t strip it further because I don’t have 8” torx screwdrivers

    Ive go
Got to agree with you @Callumity
With these sort of tools you get what you pay for, though I’m impressed with my Ryobi strimmer which I’ve had for about 3 years now and it hasn’t let me down yet (touch wood :p)

Little sh*ts coughing in elderly people's faces. I kid you not,its trending on the net. I work at a railway station, yesterday a woman turned towards me and coughed in my face. She thought it was funny . Tommy Robinson ended up in a scrap with three youths who spat in a pensioners face. FFS! What have we done to deserve youffs like that.?

A very disturbing assault, surely you would be justified in using “proportionate force” as what they are doing is not a stones throw from attempted murder... look at that dude who kept on doing unprotected sex when he knew he had HIV... they have no way of knowing if they are carriers, but if their habits include coughing and spitting into faces, I doubt they are rigorous hand washers etc.
