    Hi,
    Just a FYI.
Went to Triumph store and had a chat about swapping my 2019 Ditch Pump in for a 6 month old Speed Twin
    with 700 miles on clock.(Demo bike) £9,975.
My Beemer’s new price was around £11,385. I bought it with 1500 miles on clock for £8,900.
    Beemer miles now 2505.
    Amount needed to change £2,975.
Nearly £3.00 per mile to ride the Ditch Pump.
    Ken.

Cars stopped doing anything for me a long time ago (Last 4 wheeler was Defender 13 years x 168K miles!) but Mother in Law gave me her Seat Arosa last year, so now, I’m even less inclined to be seen driving:scream:.
Did get an email from the guys starting to sell new Mokes in UK later this year, so....
    Ken.
PS. Ditch Pump is alone in garage now. ;)

    Littleade,
I really do like the dp for riding, but the looks of the ST and more importantly the seating position appeal more than the Beemer.
Also, the ST was a tad too high for my liking.

    2019 Pure C.
I’ve adjusted the preload and raised the fork legs in the yoke and can now flat foot it.
On the Speedy I could only touch down with my toes, and sales guy said the preload was on softest setting.
Suppose you could raise the fork legs a little, or, even buy shorter rear shocks. Talking shocks, it was the 3K that really sent me home empty handed.
    Ken.
PS. Seen here with magnetic tank bad, before Dragon Rally!

why don’t you try selling the bmw private, you could sell it on eBay with a classified add which are around £15, you just state your price with a best offer,I’ve never failed on eBay using a classified add, once sold try cobb & jagger in Shipley for a new speed twin as they do great deals for cash.

Good suggestion Shaun, and thanks, but I’ve decided to stick with it for a bit longer.
    Cheers,Ken.

you do right ken as you’ve hardly used it, hopefully the weather should start and pick up so you’ll be able to ride the wheels off it,good luck.
