If I could click three ratings I'd click Like, WTF, and Love You. Oh, and maybe Cheers too. Wow! Do you still ride? More sedately (I hope)?
I still ride, sedate is in the eye of the beholder. Pic of my Speed Twin. After I recovered my ex wife told me I couldn't race anything with an engine so I took up Mtn Bike racing. Made it to Cat 2, finally stopped racing in 2007, got a new wife and bought a Buell. The Speedy showed up in the garage last spring.
You are right @Timothy Peters, "sedate" is in the eye of the beholder. I never got into mountain biking. Mountain biking in the Arizona desert is comprised primarily of rocks and cacti so not very enticing for me. I do have lots of friends who ride and race mountain bikes. I raced road bikes for a number of years. Love your Speed Twin! Digging that Corbin seat.
If you’ve ever wondered what a 76 & 11/12ths year old prick looks like, picture me wearing this on my Ditch Pump. Cheers,Ken.
since i was a child, ( a long time ago ), think that this is one of the most beautifull f1 helmets in many years. take care my friend
Treated myself to this bad boy to motivate me to eventually get back on the bike. Some good helmet deals around at the moment.
Found out Im getting this in a couple of weeks as a retirement present from my MD. Nice but think it will be going up for sale
Wish I hadn't seen this as the gold one is amazing Edit: no chance of affording this @ £799.99 unless I put the Mrs on the streets to work again
just got this one last week at 53% off, so $250. Bell star with mips, and tri matrix fiberglass/aramid fiber/carbon fiber shell. mild steel 36,000 psi E glass fiber 250,000 psi aramid fiber 400,000 psi carbon fiber 800,000 psi It probably has very little carbon fiber, just enough to advertise. very good visibility, I can live with the graphics, good areodynamics
Little noisier than my old HJC CL-18 helmet I think, even at a wind speed of 105 mph (85 into 20 mph wind) it doesn't lift.
