Hi I have just bought a Speedmaster , had a Tiger 800 XRt for just under three years did around 34000 km a lot of the miles were one day trips between 700 to 1000 km which I had the right bike for so I decided to slow down a bit and get the Speedmaster But I didn't mean stop riding, this bike great around town and on smooth road but she a backbreaker on anything that's a little rough so I hope to see what I can found out on this Forum about Suspension and seat ideas from other members and get back riding 400km day trips and not down to the coffee bar !

    Now about me
I'm just over 60 and have been riding for only 6 years after a 30 years break from riding as I got married had kids and lost the toys
I live in New Zealand which has great weather to ride all years round so on most Sunday I'm out on the bike.

Welcome, from California. Lots of good aftermarket pieces for Triumph. One of the reasons I like them. I am 74 and still riding. You have to taylor the bike to your body when you get older. Your body is not as compliant as it used to be. I had to raise my bars 3" to get the slump out of my back. Lots of good aftermarket shocks out there too. ...J.D.
