    Hi there all,
Just going through the latest carole nash quote small print and discovered the below?
To me, (no legal expert), it looks like that if my bike was damaged, and it didn't have a "manufacturers service schedule", they could invalidate the cover?
That's what it looks like to me?
For example, If a car pulled out and I braked hard (and didn't have a service schedule by triumph stamped), would I still be covered as, potentially , carole nash could say that the brakes were not maintained (fluid change) "according to the manufacturer service schedule"?
    Or, am I being paranoid????

    You are being paranoid!

Your general duty is to keep the bike roadworthy not collect dealer stamps in the logbook (just as a manufacturer cannot invalidate a warranty because it was non-dealer serviced but it WAS serviced.). The important thing is roadworthiness not absolute adherence to a schedule itself designed for the most adverse operating conditions.

Vehicle inspectors/assessors routinely check such things and from bald tyres onwards have a pretty good idea where mechanical defects arising from want of maintenance might come into play. If you ride the brake pedal you can kill pads in far less time than a service schedule says ‘change ‘em’.......now that would cause an accident.

I'm with @Callumity and @Dozers Dad you are ok as long as the you can demostrate the bike has been maintained irrespective as to whethere it was you or triumph dealer.

Are Carole Nash insurers recommended by the forum members? I have a new street arriving next week , so I'm looking for decent insurance.

I’ve been with them for a few years now and although there are cheaper out there (mce etc...) I know that Carole Nash were good for me when I had an accident a few years ago (van pulled out in front of me).
I have been elsewhere for insurance but lots don’t include Europe cover or breakdowns. Also, my insurance actually went down this year from £340 to £260 (st-rs fully comprehensive.
