Just blacked out the headlamp brackets and the heel guards and now the handlebar stems are screaming out for the same treatment. What do you think guys? should the riser plates stay silver? DSCF0361.JPG

Nice, riser stay silver, levers need to go black, tail tidy and she's mint, they really are very pretty bikes

I've just got a Scambler 1200 XC and Triumph have excelled themselves with random non-matching silver bits, the exhaust alone has four different finishes, need a trip to my local powder-coaters me thinks, there's only so much Plasti Dip can do.

Just used Halfords stock gloss black and grey primer. Didn't apply the paint to close so as to create a similar satin finish like most of the ST seems to have.

I’m loving my triple RS but if they bring out a Speed Twin Black RS my poor triple will be my deposit.

Looks lovely that, is it worth getting the parts powder-coated if you are sticking with it? I can't imagine rattle can black will last long on the heel plates!

Time will tell. As far as I am aware I don't seem to ever touch the heel plates and to retouch them up would only take about 20 mins. I put them in the oven at work to cure them quicker but didn't know for sure if I would like the look so was only an experiment.

Hadn't really considered the mudguards. You might be right, need to maybe just cover them with something black and have a look.

You might be on to something with the levers although I am not sure how durable the paint would be though. The CNC ones available seem very expensive.

Tail Tidy 3.jpg Haven't done the headlight brace but swapped out the risers with shorter black ones and the switched to the black Triumph engine badges on both right and left cases. After seeing your pic the head light braces will go black this summer.
