I have been considering getting some form of motorcycle lift/platform for a while now. I am thinking getting of the Abba Skylift simply because it will take up less room when not being used. The reviews look good so anyone used one/got one for sale?

I've got the skylift, I went from a hydraulic platform workbench to the skylift becuase of the space the workbench took up.
It's an excellent bit of kit for when space is limited.
I did have a problem with the hydraulic cylinder leaking when I first got it but Abba replaced it no problem.

I have one too, excellent it is.

However since the legs don't fold, I do find it is always in the way. For me, In hindsight (& with deeper pockets) a lift/bench may have been better as I could store stuff on it when not in use - including a bike!!

N.B. You would probably hope to find someone local... Bloody heavy & bulky to post, otherwise I might have considered offering it.

    Just my two pennies' worth.

I just unbolt the 2 legs at the front, which is a 1 minute job, and it then fits in a corner out of the way...

LOL... If only I had an empty corner ;) . My problem is probably just far too much stuff in a single garage!!

    The ABBA is superb.

Well depending on how far away you are if you are considering selling I would be interested.

Can I buy just one arm? :p, you've seen the state of my garage now... Can you believe I can also get 3 bikes in there (admittedly one is mainly parts in boxes at the moment)

Well the balancing is all very well but how do you reach anything underneath? Especially if you want to say take the rear axle off?
