Great pictures, yes uploading images straight off your computer or dropbox is easy and unlike many forums you don't need to use another host like flickr to host your photo file. You can also create nice personal albums within your profile.
I'm having new wheels and a load of other bits replaced under warranty as they are rusting or corroding after just 6-weeks. Hopefully I will get it back in mid-January and it will still have under 100-miles on the clock so I can get rid of it. Maybe mine was a Friday afternoon bike. (
That's a right pain in the proverbial. I would return the machine back to the dealer and demand a refund. It's surely not fit for purpose.
Its with them now. Under consumer law, I need to give them a reasonable chance to remedy first. I'm so disillusioned with the Triumph Brand, I'm seriously thinking of selling this and the Explorer now and switching away. I've spent over £22k this year on Triumph products and I just can't believe they can make such a bad product. Gutted does not even come close. I was so looking forward to getting the Scrambler and they have been really hard to get hold of since the 'Beckham effect' kicked in, so I was chuffed to bits when I got it in November this year. Worst £8k I ever spent. Looks good and sounds awesome with the loud slip-ons, but everything is so crude about it including the materials, design, finish, fuelling, brakes and suspension. Character is one thing, but rusting wheels and pitting all over the place after 6-weeks and 70-miles is just not good enough.
Just picked up my new Scrambler from Bill Smith Motors this morning, had to wash it off with cold water already since there is loads of salt still on the roads.
Thankfully got rid of mine! 100 miles on the clock 6-weeks of ownership (purchased new in November 2014, Sold in January 2015) £2,000 loss Relieved and disappointed Good luck to anyone who buys a 2015 Scrambler, I hope you do better than me. At least the Explorer is a good bike. I dusted off the cob webs yesterday and it did restore a little faith in Triumph, but I'm still tempted to get rid of that too, just in protest. Triumph should be ashamed of the Scrambler and how they treat their customers!
