Give them a call and ask for your next service for free. Don’t ask you won’t get, it is the least they can do after fecking you about so much

Chain maintenance and acf50 rub down...and I was overwhelmed with love for my Triumph. Sorry to get all soppy and emotional, but I just had to say it outloud.

Maybe not special to others, but it is to me.

Thank you privateer. To be honest, it does look better from a distance in a photo. But then...who doesn't!? :D

Took the red screen off whilst I decide whether to paint it silver or wait until I find one in the correct triumph colour.

Also fitted the Tors silencers as my stock pipes have peeling chrome, though not holed as yet. Only had chance to start it in the garage, but sounds good, maybe try a ride out when the weather improves

I'd love to be able to help, but I'm afraid I got the bike with that mesh cover. I like the SS 8idea though!

Well my friend it was free fitting:) as well as a free tyre , my bike was delivered with its full triumph health check as it had just had a service via the prior owner being able to wave the bill and negotiate a trade in,
this means on the health check it noted there was a slightly stepped tread on the front tyre.
When i noticed this and raised it after the sale it was put across as just an advisory, well said I advisory or not it was bad enough to be noted down and it kinda makes me feel unsafe  :bomb:
So just to be safe they agreed I should have it checked or failing that should I still feel unsafe they would pay to have the tyre changed, needless to say myself being very safety conscience I had to take up there kind offer to put my mind to rest. SO ALL OF IT WAS FREE !!!
apart from my time which they did mess with - but hell I'm human I can forgive and live with that, :D
They are also covering my MOT cost in April, as bike was delivered without its previously agreed FULL MOT IN PLACE.
    God loves a trier -
    :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

PS - What I should add was bike was bought via another main Triumph dealer and as I'm using a local main Triumph dealer closer to me the service given should still have been one that Triumph should be responsible for  As it transpires Triumph Newcastle had previously agreed a price of 165 quid for the job with the other dealer !!! (I read that on service guys notes when he booked job in.
So technically it was not FREE.

took it for a short run with the TORS, seems fine and sounds better without being too loud. I notice they are a few inches shorter than the stock pipes, not a bad thing imo

Jacked the 800 up and removed both wheels ready for new tyres later this week. Stripped and cleaned front and rear brake calipers ready for new pads, but found the existing ones serviceable few a few more 000 miles, so they went back in.

Driving up to Stevenage saw my first Tiger 900 on the road as I was stuck in traffic at the Maidenhead junction. I don’t think they ware releases yet but this has full luggage and looked pretty good.
