    69 bonneville at 20? That's not bad.
The 'lived longer ' thing is worrying as the classic cars Im working on now we're new when I first worked on them and I just think how did that get to here and survive so long

1965 Bonnie in 1966, if I could find it (still alive according to DVLC) I'd really want it back. On the youngest rider put me in the beyond duffer, bof, but still behind the 90 year old I met at seaways Café which some of yer know, and still impressed by the one arm (right) Bonnie owner that goes there, and it's a kick start too.... :D

At 16 I had a '54 Thunderbird 650 with a Watsonian Monza chair, same age as me then, in them days you could ride with L plates and carry passengers, all with no helmet!
Fast wind forward, to today, 790 03 Bonnie, second Hinckley, had an 07 a few years back.
62 year old teenager next month, determined to grow old disgracefully!

I wasn't conceived in it but earliest memories are of my dad's AJS Model 30 600cc and sidecar. Me stood on the back seat with head out of the fold back canvas roof and baby brother on mums lap in the front. No helmet on dad, just world war II flying goggles! Health and safety be buggered! Sadly no photos can be found.

Biking is definitely in the blood.
My dad had a velocette & a Austin Cambridge car....Sunday was maintenance day...sunshine meant tinkering with the Austin.. rain meant messing about with the velo.
I had a Francis Barnett 197 falcon in 1973 when I was 13.... Boy did my neighbours get p*ssed off with me starting it & running it down the garden & now I'm an adult I can see his reasons.
    Always had bikes.. Always will.
If it's the only thing I can get my leg over in later life I'd be happy :cool:
