wow! Bikerman, Those pictures are ace. I love all the old adverts. I've got a 1929 book called Motorcycles for boys. It has loads of adverts I'll post a few up

a selection of images from the 1966 triumph brochure, includes the front cover and the page for the t120 bonnie and the speed twin of the time

 

That speed record is an amazing increase, more than 20mph, on the previous year's record (again Triumph)
