I started her up , she sounded a bit lumpy but run ok, when i switched her off , fuel poured out of the airbox, im guessing its a float stuck, but could it be a vacume issue??

Err Wayne, better check oil too as is can run both ways. Bit like giving your engine a shit load of aspirins to thin it's blood!! "Sniff it out" Eric

I think its sorted itself out its not done it since, i start her every day and no petrol? It may of been because the bowls were empty of petrol for a while and as you say they got a bit stuck. It seems like its ok now, i have not taken her out yet,but i will strip the carbs if need be . Thanks for asking Dave

On some carbs there are O rings that can cause a similar problem with age and the effects of ethanol. Bloody modern fuel. Am I the only one who feels modern fuels should be better than the old stuff, not worse??
Hope the problem is fixed mate. Take care

Paying 3% less for only 90% of petrol - how does that work?
