    Hi,

New boy. Sorry if this has come up before.

I've just bought a Bonneville T100 Blk, 2003. High mileage but not in a bad condition. I'm in the process of customising it and looking at some of the other projects I'm considering putting bigger tyres on. Standard wheels are 3.5 x 17" (rear) and 2.5 x 19" (front). The standard (recommended) tyres are 130/80 17 (rear) and 100/90 19 (front). Pirelli actually recommend "Scorpion" 140/80 for the rear and the standard 100/90 for the front. I'd be grateful for any help/advice.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Had an 04 T100 and wouldn't have wanted to compromise the handling.

Welcome to the forum - make sure the tyres are round - square = very uncomfortable ride

A 140 will fit on the rear no troubles at all.

Thanks for your help. Think I'll leave the standard tyre on the front (for now) and go for the 140 on the rear.
