Yes motorcycle mechanics, always a good read I have these and Norton ones framed on the wall in the hall, but didn’t want to post the Norton ones on a Triumph site.
Ogri, brilliant! I’ve got an Orgi beer towel from the TT in the 80’s a Paul Sample cartoon. I’ll take a picture of it and post it on here. It’s the usual mayhem.
Saw many adds for triumphs in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Marlon Brando and Steve McQueen made that happen.
Here’s the Ogri beer towel from the TT from I think either 1979 or 80 hope it’s easy enough to see. There’s all sorts going on.
Thought you'd like that Don. Yes the P.C. Police would have a field day with this if it came out now.
I still have a set of Ogri, books keep me amused every now and then, I also have a few tools that I purchased from mechanics and all the old stickers on my old Snap-on tool chest's, I must admit I also liked the old Guzzi adverts with the nice young ladies draped on the bikes
Yes Don, A little squirt called Kickstart, who was always grabbing her tits and trying to get his nose into her ...... I think I was jealous.
And yes "kids" we did ride around with no more safety gear than that. I STILL have problems getting used to wearing any more than jeans and a tee shirt when I ride, and I am 74. ...J.D.
You're right Wire wheels, When I was a lad ,I'd put my leather on grab my open face brain bucket and off out. Now by the time I've put my armoured waterproof trousers on, bike boots, armoured jacket, and full faced hat, It's time to come home again. Doh! Roll on summer.
Wow! I'm amazed you've still got an Ogri sticker Don. thats brilliant. You couldn't take Mitzi home to show you mum could you. What a girl.
Oops! Sorry Dozers Dad. Just realised it's your Ogri sticker on The T100, It's been a long day. I used to have a yellow star painted on the arm of my leather. In the 70's of course When I was just slightly dafter than I'am now.
