found this almost ready made platform

 

It’s getting a bit technical now
Did some technical measurements and have drawn a centre line

 

Took some doing mate

 

Drawing a straight line is easy enough but following said line with a saw, powered or manual is something else entirely.

 

My mistake......thought you were inking in the parting in your hair.
