Nice bottle of Chablis over tea, and last of the JD and Tullamore to close the evening whilst watching Murder on the Orient Express (1974)

 

I love Tullamore Dew, and as a bonus, if I watch a movie while drinking it, I can watch it again the next day cos I can't remember feck all about it.

 

Just finished, found in my parents garage from the 80s...

 

You could have built the Shard in London twice over with all the empty Whisky bottles I've recycled.

 

Tonight as I’m alone and the kids are in bed I’ve been enjoying the last of the Christmas Port - Royal Palace Reserve - not really a slurping Port but not bad in moderation


Followed by a rather pleasant 15 year old Glenfiddich not bad for £25 from Asda, smooth with ice and very drinkable......


And this ones gonna get me in trouble when the wife returns!!!

Having a schooner of Croft Particular with my pasta... very quaffable, but ready for a mug of tea now! This turned the discussion over the meal westward... do Americans tend to own electric kettles??? My son is certain it’s an infrequent object in the American home... so could our USA representatives please confirm or deny electric kettle ownership???

Tonight I’ve turned into my granny and polished off the sherry, and it’s very drinkable!!
