In the garage today re-attaching the battery tender lead and heated clothing plug to NUDGER :)
Because I sold my trailer and tow bar :(
I’m having to make a rear platform which I can take all my camping gear for the Dragon rally :)
Gonna use the top box mount that I made for going to the 2018 GMU in Welsh Wales :)
Removed the top box mounting plate and will just attach a piece of wood and some strapping points so that nothing touches NUDGERS bodywork :)

What about the rig you made for the IoM last year?

Took a run up north to see family. Holiday traffic was at a standstill, so was well pleased to be on the bike.
Sel Motion had asked for a photo of the shock with some NZ countryside, so I think these may work.

    Still got that mate :)
But I’m gonna modify it for the R3R when it gets here :)
When I met up with you to go to the GMU in Welsh Wales if you remember I had a top box where the pillion seat would be :)
This is what I’m gonna use as I can strap my tent and bed and chair and a large water proof bag to it :)
Wouldn’t be able to get these in the top boxes

Took my recently repaired T120 out for its first run yesterday, over the river to Kent.
But got a number of high temp indications on the road, so spent today looking for the cause.
Turns out its leaking coolant from a threaded boss at the top middle of the rad which a Triumph S/S rad cover is attached to?
either the cover was put on and didn't have thread sealant put on the screw or its had a dunt when it got thrown up the road by previous owner?
It's now sitting in garage with thread sealant and a fat O ring on each screw.

Actually got the Swingarm off cleaned and refitted ish today, there's loads more routing cables and wiring cleverly hidden along the bottom of the arm compared to the GT (last bike I did this to).
This next year I'm going to need get a generator for lights, cos the mince pies aren't what they used to be.
    Anyway.

The bearings are all good, only dry, as I'd read on here, so lubed them, the spacers are cleaned up and the dust seals are coated with grease.

Replaced the rear spindle, as the one in there had been 'previous ownered' :(

Easier than anticipated, it got dark early and my worklamp died, so will finish off tomorrow. Just got to replace the chain guard and its all done.

I put the Allen key that fits the chain adjusters down, and it vanished. The 9mm one. It will be in there somewhere, but it's pretty much the same colour as the floor. Sigh.

    I feel your confusion.
I was working all day knocking down a guys garage, I laid my Crow bar down, and 20 minutes later I could not find it. I search the entire work area like 4 or 5 times.
I lifted and moved everything, no sign anywhere.
I only had that day to do the job and it was about 3 o'clock, so I took the decision to nip across the road and buy another one, to get the job done, cos I was stuck without it.
After using the new one for an hour and getting on fine, I'm on my hands and knees and I reach for the Crowbar and when I looked ,it was the old one in my hand.
The new ones about 3 feet away.
About 2 weeks later I find a Crowbar in the road as Im driving along. I now have three.

@Sprinter I have a theory, if you lose something, buy a new one. Then the old one shows up right in front of you, practically flashing at you. With a siren.

So, I ordered a new set of hex keys... Went back out there, and Lo! There it was, in the tool box. I swear I looked there...

Went back in and cancelled the order. Result... For once.

I ordered on the 17/12/19, fork oil, cos I knew this service was coming.
It was supposed to arrive on the 23rd still no sign, and the sellers away till the 2nd, and I only have so many days off.

So tonight I asked for a refund,( when they get back) and ordered some more.
If it arrives I'll sell it on here, perhaps cos I'll have so much I could put it on draught. Anyone needs 10w fork oil, then give me a shout, possibly, on the off chance...

Decent ride back home to pack and then off to meet Mrs Dartplayer for a break.
Holiday traffic still mad and all the passing lanes coned off, but still managed to get Neno humming over 330km trip to Whitianga (20km/l x 2.825= 56.5mpg)

Took the missus out for her first ride today, about 70miles with a nice stop at the iron horse in Deeping. She seemed happy enough, just need a tribo seat cover to stop her sliding around :)

Spent more time on the bike today, got the back sorted, and the bike back on the stands.

    IMG_20191229_153610349.jpg

Started in on the Spark plug check just as it started getting dark, so ready for tomorrow morning.

    IMG_20191229_160710848.jpg

Spent an hour on washing and polishing in the house.

    IMG_20191229_164912662.jpg

Waiting for oil and filter to arrive, I was going to reuse the oil, until I saw the condition, I expected brown and got black.
After not being able to sell the Samco Hoses, that I bought for my last bike (GT), and never used, I fitted two of the four to replace the Speed hoses.
