I know, just cottoned on to this Torque malarky, in the past it was all about 'horses' and the more you had the better it was and it still is for some but things are changing, much better to have that grunt in an instant for real world biking. Hope I'm not getting sacked though I have a Dog ( toby ) to support ( have you had a vet's bill lately ) and a bike to buy. Old fartism is upon me too stevethepensioner got my state pension a bit early at least part of it but the best thing about biking is put a helmet on and nobody know's although our health is wanning and that has a lot of say in the matter at least for me that is bloody frustrating.Got to try though and keep your sence of humour whatever happens
Unfortunately I know far too clearly about Vet's bills - Horse 230€; dog bill 1. 105€, dog bill 2. 100€ - all in the last month. Deep joy, of course they're worth it, but it does get in the way of a new exhaust for Kitten. State pension for me comes in 18 months and can't wait.
Had my trident new from the 1st batch in sept 91. Vin 1098. If you are worried go along to a Clive Wood t3 course, he shows you how to repair it yourself plus many more useful things. Next course Nov 21st. Btw legends and t birds run the same sprag arrangement.
Not really up to it (physically) to these big jobs now but if 'push comes to shove' and it happened I would probably give it a go taking my time.Not heard of these Thunderbids/legends though with the Sprag problem, have you? Do you still have your Trident, any photo's? Mick
