A little while ago @joe mc donald made it known he had a spare C-spanner kicking about. As my bike came without one I expressed interest in said spanner. When it transpired that I was lacking a toolkit too, Joe said he would rummage about in his garage to see what he could find. In the post today a C-spanner and toolkit. Free of charge. As Joe refused reimbursement for postage too, I made a donation to a local charity, at Joe's suggestion. Joe, thank you so much! You've got to love this forum!
The red handled one is the one I got off eBay couple of years ago. Best one for the job, thin and long, so you get more access and leverage for a more accurate adjustment. Well done, to Joe and Merry Christmas Vim.
Hmmm. I saw one of those in a toolbox the other day. I thought it was for treader headstocks. What would you use it for @Vulpes And.... Nice one @joe mc donald
Nice to see a bit of goodwill between bikers! I am without a c spanner too. Have a vfr/nc30 one from previous. Hopefully that will do the same job.
I'll have a root in aforementioned toolbox for you if you wish...a photo incoming tomorrow with daylight, yours if it will suit.
Vulpes. Glad it got to you. And you are very welcome. Thanks for thinking about the charity thing. Yes everyone its what makes this forum special. Happy Christmas to every one. Merry Christmas & New Year. Joe.
feeling the love guys. I thought this was going to be a thread about Labour getting a damned good and well deserved thrashing in the general election
@stevie28 a photo for you. It actually has Triumph stamped on it, but I think it's for a treader rather than a bike with an engine. It's 1 3/4" between the points. Yours if it's any use, pm me your address if you want it. Will post after the silly season if you do. LOL... Be an idea to add the photo really, so edited to do just that.
Cheers for digging it out sandy, but i think my h...a one will fit better. I think that looks like an old school crank tool for pushbikes as you say. The inner circumference will be to tight i think..... Big thumbs up for looking thou m8!!.
No probs @stevie28 it was worth a second look @joe mc donald yes, I thought it was one for a pushbike either headstock or crank. But, did triumph make pushbike? It deffo has TRIUMPH C CO Ltd stamped on it. Triumph 'C'? Cycles?
