Dived that many times, is an old limestone cave where the roof collapsed that entrance/exit where the boat is leaving was created when the infamous conservationist Jacques Cousteau dynamited the reef to get in is 130m deep and has claimed a number of lives
Beautiful photo, Vulpes & Helmut Visor! I, too, have dived The Blue Hole in Belize. It's a special place. Here are a couple photos from my last trip there back in 2014. The first photo was taken from the top deck of our boat as we approached that entrance/exit you talked about. Our dive master and the dive briefing white board prior to our Blue Hole dive. And this last photo is just a beautiful view from the boat, the Belize Aggressor.
Absolutely fantastic photos of The Blue Hole, Helmut Visor! Thanks for sharing them. Makes me very eager to go scuba diving again. I love the ocean! And, sigh, I live in the desert.
This place is amazing! The first two pics are from the internet but the last two are ones that I took when we went to "Sky City" a couple of years ago. I took these next two photos while Mr. Sandi and I were visiting Sky City a couple of years ago. It's an amazing place and was a wonderful and moving experience. The dog's eye view
