Peeps the world has ended my stupid system has stopped working. Think the optical input is broke and disc changer just turns no music. Desperate time polishing my bike no music. Any one know of a repair / service shop around Slough / Maidenhead/ Burnham to save my mentality. Regards Joe.
Dozers Dad. I just listen to the cd's country and Irish and rock and Irish eye on a sunday on Berkshire radio. Is it that expensive to have repaired. What I liked about this on it too five disc's played all day. Regards Joe
Dozers Dad I won't be in a rush as I go back to work Thursday and will be busy for the four shifts. Regards Joe.
Smart speaker and Spotify? No need to change the discs that way and the choice of music is almost endless.
Sir Trev. I am pretty thick when it comes to things like this. Please explain some more as I am prepared to go down any route to regain my music. Regards Joe.
Dozers Dad You can't say that. Weren't you the very man who taught me to do you tube and other bits. Regards Joe.
Yes Dozers dad I shall explore it. And I remember mate. Some Brothers stand heads above the rest of us. And I can name one or two. Regards Joe.
Me to wouldn't that be special could open a bar. Alas it's not going to happen. Thanks any way DC222. I got the problem sorted for now. My darling Sister in law has gave me a computer come laptop thing that does the job. Only one disc at a time but it will suffice till next year. The other thing I am exploring is the fact I ran my unit with optical leads but I am sure it can also run with jack plugs and wires. Regards Joe.
You can download tunes to a smartphone or tablet but if you have wi-fi connection and either of these types of device a streaming service like Spotify means you just, well, stream the music. Tell it which flavour of music or artist you want to hear and it just plays it for you. There is a free version of Spotify you can try first and if you like it go for a subscription which is only a tenner a month. A smart speaker hooks to the same wi-fi as the phone/tablet and you just tell it which device to play the music through. We have a Google Home Mini in the sitting room and for small unit, it looks like a pin cushion, it sounds quite good.
I have my old kenwood amp hookedcup to nad speakers and a cheap roberts dab radio so i can get r6 or plug in my ipod . Works at treat
Red Thunder Thanks mate. It is the amp where I had the lead to tight it broke the socket. But thankyou so much. Regards Joe.
