Triumph website appears to have crashed. Hope it is not an omen!

Bugger. The idiots at Triumph went with the ‘oh my headlight bikes broken lopsided look’ after all.

I’ll new book my 2016 model in for its 25k mega service rather than buy a new one.

    What a shame.

Bigger engine but 93.9 bhp as compared to 94 bhp for the existing 800 model according to the internet. All the pre release talk was of 100bhp plus to compete with BMW GS850 and Yamaha's Tracer 900. Triumph missing a trick here?

Got to say though that Troumphs attention to detail has improved so much over the last few years. The detail on the seat alone looks great

Thanks for taking the time to post those great pictures Oldfart

this has got to be the look of the 1200 replacement whatever and whenever that may be.

I need a second bike smaller than the incoming Rocket (lots of choice!) to go touring with Mrs Owl. Undecided on 900 or 1200. I do like the Multi GT 1260 though but also love the 1200 Tiger. Decisions decisions

I see bikes like these all the time at the rallies I go to :)
Unfortunately it’s this type of bike that tends to be the one’s that come a cropper on the grass and mud:(
A little bit slip and slide and down they go:poop:

Just sold my Africa Twin so looking for something to tour with Mrs Owl. I think this will be the same as the AT (1000cc model) power wise. Tempted to go for the current deal on the Tiger 1200 with the current freebies but dont know whether to wait for new 1200 if its coming.

    Bloody decisions.....

Wifey and I went over to a "Tiger Talks" presentation at the factory this morning. Very informative, with hot/cold drinks and cold buffet. Good speaker who knew his subject and 3 bikes to climb all over. It is clearly a Tiger, but so many changes and mostly for the better. I will be buying a new GT Pro in 2021...……...
