I don't understand Guy Martin haters. He a slightly odd Lincolnshire lad who likes machines and thinks racing should just be for fun. Just because the other TT lads are jealous of his popularity, doesn't mean he can't make good telly. He deserves way more credit than the usual class of wankers seen every day on telly, and programs with 'cel*#@ty in their title Any bike racer deserves massive credit for what they can do, just cos the lads done good don't hate him.

MrOrange. Don't think anyone would hate him. That's a strong reaction. I for one would watch his show if there was nothing else to watch but would not rush home for it. Not naming you as a hater, but that does sound like the stuff you see on other bike forums hating him. Lot of TT fanboys hate him, just because some of the TT boys are annoyed at the money he earns from all the TV work, etc. 'Why should he be paid so much, he never even won a TT' attitude. If a TV production company is willing to pay you £££'s to make some daft telly program, I am sure you too would sign up for it. It's just light entertainment and being bike based, is better than 95% of the bollox that is on TV. (even Henry Cole can get on TV for that reason - he's a dick, but it's still about bikes). Been and gone ! Look at the entertainment business, all we constantly see is rehashed stuff. How many Terminator films are there now ???

There is so little motorcycling content on TV (especially that is not racing), and as has already been said most of TV is crap, so I'm happy to watch any programme that is bike related. Guy Martin seems like a decent bloke to me, I've never met him, however my daughter has on a couple of occasions and she thought he was an nice down to earth chap.
I was sat on my bike, on a ferry coming back from NW200 and he limped past me, having come off at Blackhill section, during the days racing in 2012.
Yeah that had got to hurt! My daughter works for a motorcycle media/press company, and works at the TT most years. She has had to do some press work with Guy, and said he was a really nice bloke.
I just do not understand this voyeuristic crap on the TV !!! Who gives a flying feck about these people.
