Know I ain't posted much in last 3 months, since my Speedmaster got crunched! It didn't seem right, driving around on a Honda, posting on Triumph forum? But I just bought a 2016 maroon T120 in need of some serious TLC from MCE-Big Ed's salvage on ebay as a winter project. It may even have belonged to a forum member? Pick it up Friday from Rushden. Happy days, love working in my cold garage in winter, although I can always wear the bike gear and fingerless gloves not Harley ones, more Steptoe style
Nice bike mate, there was no need to stay off the forum because you didn't have a Triumph though mate, I haven't owned one for well over a year & nobody banned m...........................
Oh I didn't stay off the forum just kept to the background and commented on other posts about real bikes (Triumph's), as well as checking out the hottest thread on here, you know which one!!
Wishbone Bike looks good enough to me. And the forum is about the inmates more than bikes. I talk rubbish like a lot of us hear. So don't hide away tell us what you had for breakfast Christmas shopping new wellies just talk to us. Keeps us quite for nursey with the meds. Regards & Ride Safe Joe.
Duckadildundee. Well I never though of that. And I thought cranberry was served with Christmas dinner. Regards Joe.
You could be right will need to wait till Friday to check paint code!1 Either way I am aiming to get it sprayed a similar colour, although I do like the later two tones with gold stripe.
First of all, I congratulate you on your new acquisition! However, I consider the conditions in your garage to be extremely impractical. The best thing after a thorough cleaning would be to organize a proper heating, a simple heating fan with about 2 kW is certainly sufficient. The other would be suitable work gloves, preferably rubber gloves that protect your delicate hands from dirt and oil residue. Oh yeah, not to forget, make sure you get rid of those ugly mufflers and get something more appropriate in chrome!
Thanks for your concern, I am Scottish so feel it is my birth right to work in the cold, a 2kw heater would have the leccy meter spinning like a sports-bikes back wheel!! it gives us a reason to have chilblains and arthritic fingers!! I can only agree about the black pipes, they do look out of place so are high on my list of jobs to do,I have a pair of speedmaster slash cut TOR's in my cold garage they might do?
