The launch is next Tuesday @ 7pm. No problem with the discounts, you’re currently no. 432 in the queue, but for a small consideration I could bump you up a bit There shouldn’t be an embargo on public pictures so I’ll try and get a couple and post them here. Oldfart
Thanks, looks like the pillion isn’t going to be much more comfortable than usual although in that 3rd photo it looks like a bodge, and why do they insist on making one of the important safety aspects, light, smaller and smaller. I shall await oldfarts finished project photos to see if there’s any improvement
Definitely a 900 then is it? Seems odd I’d have done it as a 1000 to put it between the 800 and 1200 ranges. Hopefully the headlight is just not working in the preproduction model and is fixed in the final release. I’ll not buy one if it looks like the photo - cannot abide twin headlight bikes with one ‘broken’. Edit: The news pundits and ‘leaked’ teasers might suggest that the 900 Rally and GT models are to replace the 800 range altogether and not add to the line up of middle weight adventure bikes...
there was a post somewhere on here recently that the member had signed an nda and had seen a new bike but couldn’t say what model. Only one fact he did say was that it had one light lit. Probably the 900/1000? I too have the one light OCD syndrome and just couldn’t live with it. Was waiting for this but Think my second bike is going to be a Duc Multi 950s.
Also now that I have seen the light configuration I can’t help but see the shape of an old oil can. Hope it’s not an omen!
Well all I hope is someone at Triumph world will be savvy what people think and the single headlight thing is just something they did while getting stuff right. But then again they will have paid a lot of money for that design and as we all know, expensive means right!!
Hmm. Having just chopped in my Sport for a Tracer I might be interested in one of these in three years time but it had better have a more interesting motor than the current 800. Cannot believe how boring that is compared to the Sport.
Just for the record I’m very happy with tiger sport, which I think looks great. The engine is sublime and the overall package works for me. Who knows what the future may bring, but for now I’m good ❤️
