We have EE broadband with the house phone for £35 and both mine and the wife's mobile phones (sim only deals) for £27. No complaints about the super fast broadband or phone and mobile service.

I was paying bout the same as you. I told them politely that I had been with them for about 12 years and was feeling that i was going to change as new customers were getting offered my package for £20 per month less (Superfibre broadband 2)

I did my research on pricing for the same deal with Plusnet being £23 cheaper. Then went to BT site and put in my postcode and selected a different house number to find out what the new deals were. Currently they are also offering a lower price a new TV or Xbox one. Said I was not looking for the plusnet price as I was happy with the service and coverage but did want the new customer deal of £55.99 (includes BT Sport) with the TV or I would be moving

They tried to sell me their new Halo service but Im not interested in add ons that I dont need.
The key is in the preparation and being polite to the person on the phone. I wasn't demanding but just explained the facts. Lets face it, I have probably being overpaying for years
My deal with BT was due to end tomorrow

I guess you've all heard the great news about broadband! Put Labour in charge at the forthcoming election and it'll be free for us all. Phew, that's that little issue sorted, thank you Jeremy. Now what's next..?

When our contract with Virgin runs out in the new year, we're dropping the broadband and landline. We're going onto 3s home wi-fi over 4G. We'll keep our phones on a separate provider in case 3 go down and we have to tether to them. As we occasionally have to do with broadband,

For TV we're getting a Humax box.

20+ years of swapping back and forth between shit providers means we fancy giving this a go.

Having said that, it's just the two of us and we don't download or stream that much.
