I’m looking into having the seat cover replaced with a synthetic suede cover by “Luimoto”. Unfortunately they only have covers available for the standard seat. Is there a difference in the shape of the seat? I thought the comfort seat had upgraded foam but remained the same shape. Does anyone know if there is a difference in shape? I may have to send Luimoto my seat, as they suggested, in order to get a new cover. Cheers.

Hi Steve, I have both a gel and standard seat and I can't see any difference in size or shape. As you say, it's just that the filling is different.

Yup. The replacement seat cover is about $200 Canadian, but it’s damn nice. I also talked to my dealer today and he said the part numbers are the same for the seats on the S & RS model’s. So it would seem that they are the same, but have a look at the features from Triumph website. As long as they are the same shape and size, that’s all I’m concerned about.

Just to update this thread, both seats are the same, in size and shape anyway. I’ve received my new seat cover and it fits perfectly. Thanks for helping out :).
