Nah - Okehampton's still on dry land!! Though with our recent weather they may be wondering for how long ........
my 2, that will soon be leaving with the ex.... these are with me nearly every day, no matter what or where, either in the back of the truck or sat on me. im gona miss these like crazy.
I, like @Dozers Dad, am really sorry to hear that, elevenses. There are lots of losses in addition to our exes when relationship breakup happen. But some of the worst are losses related to our beloved pets. Will you be able to see them at all? Is that even a remote possibility? I can't imagine losing my dear Annie the Boxer if (heaven forbid) Mr. Sandi and I split. I am sure that your two cuties will miss you as much as you will miss them.
And men, too, phred. If only PEOPLE were as loyal and stedfast as dogs! Dogs are the best. If only people were more like dogs in general the world would be a far better place.
Hmmmmmm...... not entirely sure about that. I've seen dogs fight, often for no more reason than one didn't like the smell of the other's arse (seemingly)! The world might be a be a far better place if all the right dogs were smart, sensible and stayed in all the right places and, perhaps, didn't go sniffing around elsewhere ..... at least not without some supervision. Maybe we could broadly agree on that?
Went for a bit of a hike up a nice hill near us, just shy of a 1000ft, dog bloody loved. Slept since we got home 4 hours ago !!!
What do you think happened to the fella that took the picture !! As Granpa Cut-throat used to say "If the're no breathin, the're no tellin" Beatiful forgotten little corner of Scotland here, admittedly the first photo does have the Lake District in the background, but even that doesn't spoil it Could 'just' make out IOM through the haze. FAntastic views from the top. And yes, never noticed the matching outfits
Built a Santa chair for my town’s Christmas display and while it was in my shop figured might as well get the girls and make a Christmas card.
