Well done, the secret is out. Love the 1050 triple, had a sprint st 1050 and loved it.

Surely, not enough grunt in a Street Twin after a Speed Twin?
    Ken.
I’m a bit late to the finish line with this answer, as usual for me!

Better late than never. You are right had a Street Twin a while back and after the Speed Twin it would have a change to far.. if you know what I mean.

That doesn’t look to have a ‘Low’ seat height, not compared to my ‘Low’.
    Cheers,?Ken.

No it doesn’t I don’t think. I have ordered the low comfort seat and a lowering kit. Hoping to get 45mm of the stock seat height.

    Nice bike mate!
Had them a couple of times as loan bikes when mine was being serviced.
Wish the 1050 lump was in the 800 frame - no need for the 1200 then!

No mate, the 1200 was too tall even with low seat etc... As I said I had the sprint ST which had the 1050 in it, cracking engine.

What happened with your speed twin?

Well I am just pxing my Sport after 3 years and 20,000 miles. You'll love the ride! Best bike I ever owned without a doubt. A few tips that may be of use.
Fit a fender extender otherwise crap comes up into the cockpit and then onto your dials and your face. Keep a close eye on the paintwork behind the header pipes - it is a natural collection point for water and thence paint flaking. I put an MRA deflector on the screen which quietened it down a bit. Not really a problem at sub legal speeds but those are very difficult to achieve on the Sport.
Prepare to be able to eat a banana sideways - your grin is going to be that wide. Oh, and like most Triumph triples, it is top heavy so careful in car parks.
Budget for many brake pads. tyres and other consumables. ENJOY!
