We had an actor turn up to one of our conventions who thought it would be funny to get a cheap laugh by doing a mic drop with one of my shure mics. It survived the first one, but at the closing ceremony he THREW the mic onto the stage and it killed the microphone. The same actor is coming to the Lux event next year, so I want to give him a dildo dressed in a microphone foam to go out on stage with... then I can get a cheap laugh when he realises he has just been trying to talk into a dildo in front of 1200 people..... I guess I don't find the cost of replacing a £200 microphone as funny as ‘detective douche’ from the Lucifer television series does.
