I will understand if you all find this a bit lame, but today is a sad day for me, because Bonny has just left home with her new owner. I know it was my choice, but she has been part of me for 4 years now and I know I'm going to miss her. She's gone to a younger Parisian chap who is a real Triumph fan so hopefully he will get as much pleasure from her as I've had. This obviously means I am no longer the owner of a Triumph - can I still come on here? I've met some great people as a result of this forum and I wouldn't want to lose touch. Cheers, blubbingly Dave
Dont be sad Dave, Your a Big Lad now, Well, you always will be on here !! Glad your not leaving the Forum.
At least she's gone to a good home. Time to move on and have some new experiences with the new one. I'm sure nobody will kick you off here or take the piss for not having Triumph....honest
Thanks guys, just got back from a ride out on the new boy and feeling a bit better. The worst was listening to Bonny being ridden away. The best bit was putting the bank cheque into my account Going for a 700kms round trip down sarf to see my sister for a couple of days.
Those KTM forums won't know what's hit them Don't be a stranger Dave I still need to come break some strings
Up to now the KTM forum I've found seems...................... a bit reserved, by comparison to here.
Hey Ho Biggy, you must have kept something from Bonny, Anyways although your piss taking won't be relevant anymore I'm sure no one will have any objections if you come on and try!! Maybe there should be a forum for Triumph Have beens. No thats HAVE beens Theres too many of us Has beens,
Don't worry Eric I'll be back Friday night. We will do the shopping on Monday or Tuesday so if there's anything special you would like, just let me know. Escargots for instance?
Iv been on this site for a long time, Had a Triumph Legend sold it got a Thruxton sold it then a Thunderbird sport sold it then an America sold it now a Bonnie se. long spells of not posting but keep coming back to Triumph and back on here. im sure you will be back mate. but no reason to go!!!
Yo Dave, felt just same when my Bonnie went recently, I'll miss the noise and power etc etc but time to move backwards again, DO NOT LEAVE FORUM, there that told him. Yer experience is always valuable to newer riders. I ain't Trumpet in shed again yet but wain't be long me thinks so will hang around on the fringes on here...now stop boooing everybody!!!
Sorry the Bonnie had to go Dave but that's no reason for you to disappear off the forum - you are, after all a "well known member"! It just wouldn't be the same without you.
