Unfortunately not Joe. I am also in awe of how our ancestors built such great places. All without a computer!
    Cheers

Living in a time where I can communicate with like minded individuals who share a passion for Triumphs and motorcycling generally instantly.

Leshan Buddha, Leshan, Sichuan China. Carved out of the rocks, 240 feet high. Slippery getting down there when it's wet, I can tell you!

    Wow!

I wonder what the casualty rates were back when these were carved out. No health and safety or off with bad back in those days I bet :joy:

Either very brave, or really thick - it's a thin line...

I been somewhere similar to this one. But dammed if I can remember. I will ask Tracy when she get home. I'm positive it wasn't China as I have never been there. But fantastic.
    Regards
    Joe.

It was an awe inspiring sight, Joe. Especially from the river. It was built in the 7th century AD, to watch over the ships on the river.

You are awesome aswel. I get transfixed on all things like that and spend days pondering about how it was built who did it and almost feel the people working and toiling. Even derelict houses in the countryside I got to look at and wonder why surely a family must have grown up there and loved there why abandon it. Tracy says come on you fool and reality kicks back in. But like minded people as you say helps keep me nearly sane.
    Regards
    Joe
