Forum Trip To Spain 2020 - Cancelled Due To Covid19

Hey lads, I'm new here, I'm collecting finally my Speed twin in a week or so, this trip next year sounds perfect as as last stretch before autumn. I live in Prague ( Czech Rep) so I would need to work out where would I meet you guys. The crowd around here is a bit passive if you are a foreigner.

Well I did nearly 8000km on my VStrom 650 in three weeks going up to the Nordkapp. So I would say, in answer to your question, yes.

 

I’ll most probably be on a smaller bike my Tiger 800 and @andypandy may be on his Yamaha Tracer 700 ?

 

And I’ll be on my tichy tiny Waspy

Yes I will. You can do it on a Honda 50 if you really wanted to.

If you book through Brittany Ferrys and you book 3 nights accommodation as well it works out alot cheaper.
It doesn't have to be 3 nights in the same accommodation it can be split up,and I don't think it has to run one after the other,but you'd need to check.

If anybody else is interested, add your name to the thread.... From what Andy has already posted we should be able pin dates down in October, when the dates for sailings are released.

 

Just booked the ferry for myself and Steve @Wessa leaving Portsmouth for Santander on 18th Sept 2020 and leaving Santander for Portsmouth on 28th Sept 2020.
If anyone wants to join us but do a shorter trip there will be the opportunity to leave "the pack" just south of Santander/Bilbao a few days before the 28th.

 

Andy, I would be interested in a shorter trip as you suggest. I will look at sailing times when I get back.
(Have to go to a site meeting now - it's a work thing )
