Just got this teaser in my mailbox ... https://www.triumphmotorcycles.co.uk/motorcycles/roadsters/coming-soon?utm_source=email&utm_campaign=UK_ROAD_STR_Tease_9_19&utm_medium=email&utm_term=&utm_content=roadster&mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiT0RRNU1qWXdNRFZtWm1RMiIsInQiOiJ6OW5nUVV1YVRkdzFDRG1rVWpBMUJ0emVRQXBsWWpzZEVZSWpUelJmUmtOWXhVUitOUFd0akMya21MRDZTTW9KSkI5RHlVYkN1XC9wSU5rbFlLSFk0Q2x5V3dOanliT1gyZkR1aUlGSnhRWjVubFwvS0FCdmtVR3UyVFZDbFdtbllwIn0= It sounds delicious!!
A bit of new video of the new RS. https://www.triumphmotorcycles.co.u...1ZUkyOEZ2M0daVVFWYitNT0JObDdYOEYifQ==#strsvid Nice!
Me too: On this vein and on first look I see no significant gain, what are the real benefits? Running a late 2018 and currently on 6000 or so miles I dont see a major difference other than the downshifter, go-pro/navigation connectivity (dont need either) and different headlights, please enlighten me?
Any Triumph with a TFT screen can be updated to accept this software, apparently it should be ready to upload from your dealer anyday now.
Only just seen it! Looks stunning!! Coming to the end of my PCP in July, my RS will have 12k on the clock then - so this is a VERY strong contender for my next bike.
Looks good but still can't see me changing from the current one. Subtle changes add up but for me the sum isnt significant enough. With the cash saved and once out of warranty I can see a new exhaust and dyno remap being a better way forward
Seems to be a number of comments about the ABS now being intrusive and not being able to turn it off now due to EU regulations......
Being from an off road background I do tend to use the rear brake on occasions and in certain circumstances more than most. Naturally the front does 90% of the braking. Comparing my 765 RS 68 plate against my previous Honda CB1000R 60 plate rear brakes: - I definitely noticed that the Triumph abs on multiple occasions is far more intrusive. Both rear brakes I would class as good in terms of feel and power and I couldn't decide if this was down entirely to the abs or partially to the machine weight. There is a significant difference ~ 40kgs between the two bikes and with weight transfer maybe the ST had very little loading on the tyre. The last ST can be selected to ABS OFF so maybe that's another reason for sticking with the current one.
