Ng Racing Round 8 - Oulton Park Sat 28th Sep

Yep already had some serious sun, getting better as we go further east. Enjoy your party on Saturday night....

 

The party is at the Cotton Arms, Nantwich, apparently we are not allowed to stay at Oulton on Saturday night, the pub has a campsite so we are moving down to there before heading home Sunday.

 

Had to google it as not familiar with that pub. It is south of Nantwich and looks ok.. enjoy

 

As you know Billy I’m only a few miles away from Oulton and intend on coming Friday and Saturday and if you need anything just let need know.

When are you hoping to arrive at the circuit and if your walking the circuit and want a bit of local knowledge let me know.

Your ideally situated in the paddock especially for someone your age,,,,,,right next to the Toilets

 

I will get there Thursday pm, Regs say no entry before 16.00, but to be honest most tracks says that, but that is usually just no access to the pit garages, we always park in the outer paddock.
Normally do a track walk the evening before testing, not entirely sure how much good it does as the track looks so different when on the bike.

Nice that we're so close to the toilets for when you old codgers come and visit.

 

There’s no events on Thursday so you would think they’d let everyone into the paddock

Yes the tracks will look different walkng as opposed to riding at speed, but if you’ve not visited a track before it’s well worth walking.
I suppose if your memory is going with age it could be a waste of time, Brian or are you Bernie.

Yeah, but what you aren't aware of, Tiglet, is that Bad Billy is a 12th Dan in Aidoyou. He could probably kill you with a thousand yard stare, and then break your bones with the hands that pump the front brake of a Prostocks Bandit. That's why the name isn't just "Billy", don't you know.

Adie I met Billy for the first time at Donington this year and the only thing that upset him was when @Yorkshireman had a vice like grip on the hospitality Hobnobs.
The look in Billy’s eyes was pity full,mind you both @Dozers Dad and myself were left with nothing to dunk in our coffees
