I'm idly considering a bit of a conversion for my TTR. In my minds eye I'd like to see it with some bars that promote a more upright riding position but not necessarily a vertical posture. I'd like to keep the mudguards but smaller aluminium ones might be ideal in black or brushed alluminiun. Akropovic high level exhaust or similar 2:1. I'm going to put a Triumph dual seat on it so I can tie a bag down (Kriega US20) and lose the seat hump. This is all going to be reversible so a DIY fitment of this kit would be ideal. Anyone attempted anything similar?
It'll probably cost less than the depreciation to do and being DIY'able the bike could be returned to standard and the parts sold on.
