Took a bit longer to sort than anticipated. Put clutch and gearbox back on last Sunday. But the pedal did not feel good, so didn't feck around and just ordered a new slave cylinder. That didn't arrive till Thursday, so put it all back together Friday night / Saturday morning. All sorted now. Going to use it to commute this week to check all is well, before I put my entry in for the Targa Rally on the 22nd. Costing £130 for entry, club membership and insurance, don't want to pay up, then find the car isn't fit to compete. Entries in by the 18th, so give me time to check all's good before sending entry/ payment off.
Early start. Been here since 7:30, full breakfast included with your entry, so boots are filled are raring to go.
First two sections completed. Hit one cone unfortunately, but it's our first time out. Really need to improve handbrake.
