It was just a bit of fun, my bike very rarely see's revs that high, even on trackdays as I tend to short shift. Modern in-line 4 1000cc sportsbikes will all do around 100mph in first.
That was interesting, was that kph? May have to give a go tomorrow, as I am finally over the break in period. Itching to take a test ride on a mostly deserted and patrolled 4 lane about 10 miles north with the throttle map turned off, once the deer start bedding down for the day. Deer are thick as theives over here. Hard to go 5 miles with out seeing a 150-200 lb carcasses on the roads.
